Why Doctors of Hope Academy

Dr. Nawwaf Lamin Abass traveled from Ghana to Cuba to study medicine after encountering barriers to medical-school access.

Doctors of Hope Academy is being developed from the belief that health knowledge and healthcare-career preparation should become more accessible, understandable, current and structured.

Dr. Abass carried these words through medical school. They remain part of the inspiration for building health education and future healthcare pathways that are more accessible, understandable and affordable.
